Chinas Little PSY Jun Min Woo Passes Away at Age 12

China’s own “Little PSY” Jun Min Woo has unfortunately passed away.

Media outlet Zoglo reported that Jun Min Woo went to the hospital for treatment due to difficulty breathing on February 8, and passed away shortly after midnight on February 9. The cause of death was reported as a brain tumor.

Jun Min Woo, who was only 12 years old, was diagnosed with the tumor in 2014 and came to Korea from his native China in order to receive treatment. Although his condition had improved since then, in May of 2015 he took a turn for the worse and unfortunately succumbed to the tumor.

Jun Min Woo was known in China for his spunky performance of PSY’s “Gangnam Style” on “China Dream Show.” Additionally, Jun Min Woo gained the spotlight in Korea with a 2011 appearance on SBS‘s “Star King.” You can watch some of his signature performances below.
