SEO Internship with Roots (Remote or In-Person)

This is an internship that dives into the world of search engine optimization (SEO). You’ll help work towards SEO strategy goals involving keyword research, fine-tuning website content, auditing existing blogs, and writing new SEO driven blogs.

Interns will be a part of two organizations: Penda Photo Tours and Roots Interns. These organizations value grassroots initiatives - the former focuses on this through humanitarian photography while the later creates internship opportunities with nonprofits. Both are looking to develop their website professionally, so interns will optimize their analytics by working alongside a driven group and SEO strategist.

Interns are given the option to join either in-person in Cape Town or remotely from their home. Regardless of either, applicants must currently be an undergraduate student. It is preferred to be familiar with the basics of SEO and related tools, but this isn’t a requirement as the most valuable quality is to have passion for the work they are doing.
