'Dollar Store Grandpa Bandit' finally caught, Coeur d'Alene police say

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (KBOI) — The "Dollar Store Grandpa Bandit" has finally been caught after a six week robbing spree across the nation.

The serial robber, 53-year-old David Hunter of Connecticut, committed ten robberies at Dollar Tree stores and Dollar General stores, including one in Idaho.

Hunter was tracked to a casino in Indiana after his final robbery in Connecticut. The FBI arrested him inside the casino.
